About the Play: This short script written by Willow Roe and produced by Drama Notebook is so creative! Peter Pan and Little Red Riding Hood collide in this imaginative tale. This small production class is a wonderful learning experience for kids that are just starting their theatre journey. The script is fun, silly and has a great moral. Students will enjoy the fairy tale aspects and getting to play storybook characters. Kids will learn a lot about stage confidence as well as some foundational theatre technique.

This small production class for younger elementary students will be 7 weeks long. Students will be performing their play at the end of the session on the evening of May 7th. Both homeschool small production classes will perform on the same evening. Students will be assigned a role and will have lines to learn. If you have a child that has been wanting to try out stage performance, this is a great play to start with!

About the Play: Mr. Wolf wants to be a gardener. Papa Bear wants to be a carpenter. And Hansel and Gretel just want to open their own bakery, not gallivant all over the woods! One problem: how will their stories get told if they follow their dreams instead of the Storyteller's narration? This play specifically written for younger students is a fun and interesting story with a great message of believing in yourself and encouraging others.

This class is limited to 12 students. Enrollment will be closed and a waiting list started when we reach 12.  Please refer to our guidelines for any questions about refunds or class cancellations.

This 7 week small production class is going to have a blast putting this play together. Written by Andy Pavey and produced by Drama Notebook, this script is hysterical! It's clever, it's sarcastic, it's fast-paced with a modern feel, but more than anything, it's creative! This fable retelling was written specifically for middle and high school students and has a great quirky energy. All students will be assigned a role and will have lines to learn. Acting experience is not required, but students need to know that vocal projection will be important as well as a directable attitude.

About the Play: The Midas Touch is a short comedy based on the beloved fairy tale. In this version, the greedy king Midas is demanding everything in his kingdom be bedazzled and sparkling! The peasants are frustrated by his ridiculous and greedy requests but when a cloaked stranger offers him one special wish, he outdoes himself. Being granted the gift of turning everything he touches into gold, the entire kingdom and his daughter turn against him. Can he overcome his greed and arrogance, redeem himself AND save his kingdom before it's too late?

This class is limited to 7 students. Enrollment will be closed and a waiting list started when we reach 7.  Please refer to our guidelines for any questions about refunds or class cancellations.
