Get ready for some Fall Theatre FUN!

We are offering THREE Tuesday evening classes this fall for students ages 5 to 18. All experiences will be held at Yukon Church (11715 NW 10th St.) ​

PLEASE NOTE: All of the material in our classes is designed specifically for the age groups listed. Students enrolling must turn the minimum age by the FIRST DAY OF CLASS. Because we want our students to get the maximum benefit from their theatre experience, we will not make exceptions to the age ranges in our classes.

COVID Info

• Yukon Church has spread out their seats in accordance with the COVID-19 theatre seating guidelines to help ensure students will be socially distanced while seated. When students are on stage there will be times when they are close together.

• If directors desire, temperature checks will happen at drop-off. All students need to wear a mask for temperature check. If temperature is above 100, students will not be allowed to stay for the night's classes. 

• At this time, masks are OPTIONAL in class and left up to the discretion of parents. 

• As always, we will do our best to keep you informed of any changes we intend to make beforehand.

ACTING 101

*TUITION: $80 + a $25 enrollment fee per household family (for new students) 

AGES: Ages 5-10 (Must be 5 by September 10th)

DAY/TIME: Tuesdays 4:45-5:45pm

DATES: September 10th-November 5th (This is an 8 week class). 

PAYMENT: Tuition is due on the first day of class. The non-refundable enrollment fee of $25 can be paid electronically to hold your slot. We take CashApp, Paypal and Venmo.

REQUIRED DRESS FOR CLASS: Jeans or loose sweats, normal sized t-shirt (no crops or mid length), tennis shoes (no slip offs). Please see our Dress Policy for more information. You can find this under the "About Us" tab.

CLASS SIZE: 6 to 12 students​​​​

CLASS INFO:  Students ages 5 to 10 will love learning all about acting in a low pressure and encouraging environment. Class times will be filled with theatre games, acting exercises, skits, stage confidence skills, improvisation fun and guaranteed giggles! This class is a great fit for kids that have some theatre experience as well as kids that are new to the stage. Being able to read is not a requirement to take this class.

Gifted

*TUITION: $60 + a $25 enrollment fee per household family (for new students) 

AGES: Ages 11+ (Must be 11 by September 10th)

DATES: September 10th-November 5th (This is an 8 week class).

DISCOUNT: Students taking Gifted AND Acting Technique get a $20 discount.

Acting Technique

CLASS INFO: CTA's Acting Technique is a great class for actors that are wanting to GROW. Through the use of specific acting exercises and games, performers will discover strategies and technique methods to help them 'level up' their theatre game. Acting Technique is a fast paced, energizing class that will keep students engaged and entertained every week in a fun and positive environment of learning. Students new to theatre will also enjoy Acting Technique as they will get a wonderful introduction to the world of theatre and performance!

This class is limited to 12 students. Enrollment will be closed and a waiting list started when we reach 12.  Please refer to our guidelines for any questions about refunds or class cancellations.

Welcome to POP-UP CLASSES! 

​

WHAT ARE POP-UP CLASSESS?

     Pop-Up Classes are one time classes that focus on one specific area

     of dramatic study.

​

WHO CAN TAKE POP-UP CLASSES?

     Any student within age and experience range of that specific Pop-Up

     Class.

​

WHAT IS THE COST OF A POP-UP CLASS?

     Each Pop-Up has a set studio fee that is paid at the beginning of

     class. The studio fee ranges between $10 a class to $30 a class

     depending on the theme of the class. As long as the student has

     already paid their enrollment fee for the 2024-2025 season, the

     class fee is the only payment due. If the student has not paid their

     enrollment fee, they'll need to pay the class fee plus the $25

     enrollment fee. The enrollment fee only needs to be paid once per

     season.

WHEN ARE POP-UP CLASSES?

     Pop-Up Classes follow more of a random schedule (hence the

     name) than our regular weekly classes. Here is our upcoming

     schedule thus far. Class descriptions are below class details. As

     more classes are added, we will post them on social media so be

     sure to follow us!

UPCOMING POP-UP CLASS SCHEDULE:

​

IMPROV THEATRE:  SEPTEMBER 12TH, 5:30PM-7:30PM. This class is for ages 9-19. Class fee is $10 per person (plus $25 enrollment fee if this hasn't been paid yet for the 2024/2025 season)

Come learn the Official "Unofficial" Rules of Improv and how to use them correctly in improvisational theatre. We will be playing games, creating skits, working with crazy characters and enjoying a night of laughs together. This is a low pressure environment for students that just want to get a taste of the stage and work with improv theatre.

BROADWAY CHALLENGE: SEPTEMBER 26th, 5:00pm-8:00pm. This class is for ages 7-19. Class fee is $15 per person (plus $25 enrollment fee if this hasn't been paid yet for the 2024/2025 season)

Do you think you could put an entire Broadway musical number together in only three hours...? That is the challenge! Students will arrive at 5:00pm, learn a musical number, and perform it for friends and family at 8:00pm! This will be a fun, but fast paced environment. Attending students need to know they'll be singing live and learning choreography.

MURDER MYSTERY THEATRE: OCTOBER 10th, 5:00pm-8:00pm. This class is for ages 11-19. Class fee is $20 per person (plus $25 enrollment fee if this hasn't been paid yet for the 2024/2025 season)

Come see if you can figure out "who dun it" while getting excellent character and technique training. All students signed up for this Pop-Up Class will receive a character they will be playing for the night. The mystery's theme will be given closer to the Pop-Up Class date. This class requires preparation and an early cut off date. Sign ups will close on October 5th. Sign up for this one early!

ALL THINGS DISNEY: OCTOBER 24th, 5:30pm-7:30pm. This class is for ages 7 to 16. Class fee is $10 per person (plus $25 enrollment fee if this hasn't been paid yet for the 2024/2025 season)

Movies, stories, characters, trivia, songs, games... ALL DISNEY! This class is always so much fun for Disney lovers! Students will be using Disney characters, retelling stories, singing songs, learning some choreography, putting together skits and sketches... and more! We have a very busy and fun-filled class for all the Disney lovers!
