AUDITION INFO

  • There will be paperwork for parents to fill out at auditions. Please know your clothing and shoe sizes, height and medical/emergency information. Paperwork will take around 15 minutes to fill out. Be prepared to list any conflicts you have with the rehearsal schedule AT THIS TIME.

  • All auditionees will be reading from the script.

  • All auditionees must be in 6th grade or above. Homeschoolers need to be at least 11 1/2.

  • All parents and auditionees need to read the CTA Code of Conduct before auditioning. You can find this under the "About Us" tab. The signature pages will be available at auditions.
  • Auditions will be held at Yukon Church, 11715 NW 10th St. Please enter under the awning on the east side of the church.
  • All auditionees need to know that tech week rehearsals are mandatory.
  • Once cast, attendance is crucial to the production. Actors are not allowed to miss more than 2 rehearsals during the production period. If you can provide projected absence information at auditions, the directors will try to work around your set absence dates if at all possible.

  • PRODUCTION FEES are due by January 16th
  • Acting resumes and headshots are suggested but not required.
  • One of the commitments to a CTA production is after show clean up. ALL CAST will be required to stay after our Saturday performance and help clean up the church. It usually takes us about 2 hours to get everything cleaned up. No cast member is allowed to leave until we are finished.
  • All parents and students will be asked to sign a production contract. A copy of the contract will be available for perusal at auditions. Students and parents will also be asked to sign the Code of Conduct stating that they read and will adhere to the guidelines of CTA.
  • Our directors are looking for students that can speak loudly and show character on stage. Positive, cooperative, directable attitudes are a must.
  • You may be cast in a speaking role OR a background/nonspeaking role. All roles are assigned per the director's discretion.
  • You will need to sign up for an audition time slot. If you are ready to sign up click here:
